All participants will receive an original Sunflower Trail Run Finisher t-shirt, Sunflower Trail Run finisher medal, and 2 free admissions for another visit to our Sunflower Festival.    

T-shirts & medals not guaranteed if registered after Aug 1.

Teams:

Grab your friends, families and co-workers and make your own team!  All teams must have at least 4 members.

Create your own family team, workplace team, church/club team, etc.  Why?  Because it's more fun than running alone!  You get a built-in support system!  Friendly competition with those you already know and trust!    

​

Referral Rewards:

When 3 others register using your personal referral code you will automatically get a $10 refund sent back to you!  Easy-cheesy!!

Food:

Free pancakes will be served following the races for runners & their guests!  

​

Medals & Awards:

Prizes, custom designed by Sunflower Metal Designs, will be awarded in the 5K Competitive Division race only to the top 2 finishers in each age category.

Awards for this category will be announced as soon as results are tabulated.

All registrants in both the 5K's AND the 1 Mile will receive a finisher medal. (If registered before the cut-off date.  No guarantee for a medal if registered after.) 

 

Results for the Non-Competitive 5K and the 1 Mile races will be posted but not announced. 

​

Medals and shirts must be picked up in person.  These will not be mailed unless registered as a Virtual runner or other arrangements have been made.

​

Spectators:

Spectators will not be allowed on the course or in the sunflower field during any race.  Water station will be available.  Views of the runners will be available from our lookout bridge or other platforms.    

​

Course map:

Maps will be posted to view. 

​

Conditions:

This trail course is IN an actual sunflower field.  Pathways will be cut out and runners will be expected to stay on the pathways.  Violators will be disqualified.  

All attempts will be made to keep the trails as safe as possible but uneven ground should be expected and wet/muddy conditions can occur.  Please be prepared.

​

*Pollinating bees will be present!  It is a Sunflower field!!*

Race day timing and results for all races will be provided by Morgan Sports.  Results are linked below and also at www.morgansports.net.

** Kansas Maze reserves the right to cancel or change the date of this event at their discretion based on lack of sunflower blooms, inclement weather or conditions.  All efforts will be made to honor this date but safety & satisfaction of our guests is our #1 priority. **
